Our Vision

At Allegiance Acres, we envision a world where every student has the opportunity to learn in accordance with their personal goals and interests without standards or restrictions. We envision children climbing trees, jumping, building forts, and playing again. Think forest school, but in the desert. Through play and real-world experiences we teach children how to think, not what to think. We  believe in, and encourage a messy childhood. If you’re looking for a school where your child is allowed to be wild and free, welcome. We hope to reignite and maintain that spark for curiosity and life in them.

To lead by example. To share what we’ve learned from the place of a student, not as an expert. To let God lead us in serving each child in a holistic and personalized manner from a place of compassion and grace while supporting the child as a whole being, not just a student. We encourage children to exercise their ability to freely choose to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior, to develop and use critical thinking skills, and to create lifelong learners with a curiosity and excitement for life. To provide endless opportunities for learning through exploration, curiosity, trial and error, and hands on learning. To develop and nurture a community of likeminded families striving to raise bold, kind, polite, curious, Christ-loving humans, because it really does take a village. We will spend many hours in our community so that students may observe, learn, and practice being strong citizens willing to serve and volunteer in their community. To develop an understanding of self, emotions, emotion regulation, coping mechanisms, and supporting one another. We will lead by example while teaching children life skills that will benefit them inside and outside of the classroom.
