No, our procedure is to complete the consultation and then if we choose to move forward with the enrollment process we will invite you to tour our school - this is for the protection of our privacy as well as the privacy of our students.
Our teacher to student ratio is 1 teacher with a maximum of 10 students per teacher.
We are located in northern Surprise, Arizona. Our major cross streets are 163rd Avenue and Jomax.
We highly suggest the book Unschooled by Kerry Mcdonald. Unschooling is child-led and child focused. This means students determine what they learn (outside of core classes), at what pace they learn, & how they learn.
We appreciate every prayer, referral, and donation. We are always accepting donations through STO tax donations. Simply put, if you owe taxes to the state of Arizona you can make a donation to us at this link: https://aztxcr.org/donate/ You can choose to donate to our school or an individual student.
We believe each person’s faith is a personal relationship with God and is not to be used as a manner of credentials or screening employees and/or families and students. While on and off campus we encourage all community members to act in a positive way that reflects the values and beliefs of Allegiance Acres. If students or staff are acting in a way that does not reflect the values and beliefs of Allegiance Acres in accordance with our statement of faith we will manage this on a case-by-case basis.
We are a homeschool experience in a group setting.
We strongly believe that a curriculum is a bare minimum guideline to be supplemented with real-world experience. We do not guarantee that your student will complete worksheets everyday. If you desire a structured academic setting we strongly advise you to seek other options. Through our experience we have learned that worksheets do not guarantee academic progress and learning nor does following one curriculum.
The curriculum we use changes with each student’s interests. We personalize each student’s core class curriculum to their learning style, academic level, and personal interests.
We do not follow Arizona state standards for grade levels based on age nor do we follow the Arizona state standards for academics. However, we do reference the state standards and aim to guide each student in exceeding them.
Some curriculums we use:
Masterbooks

Prayerfully and intentionally. We have a thorough screening process we utilize when meeting with students and their families. We not only want to ensure that you are a good fit for us, but more importantly that we are a good fit for you and your student. We want to ensure we are capable of meeting your expectations and goals.
Each student is individually assessed for their compatibility with our program. We do not believe any specific method of learning or education to be a one size fits all.
No, we are not open to the public. Our farm school operates on our family farm and we appreciate you respecting our privacy.
We do not base our tuition on the allocated amount for students. Our tuition rate is based on our operating costs. We charge an additional fee that exceeds the ESA allotment because we include supplies and field trip fees in our tuition rate. We are also eligible to receive STO funds which have no maximum disbursement amount. All families have the option to use ESA funds or STO funds.
We believe it takes a village to raise a child. We believe as educators we play a strong supporting role in each child’s village. There is a huge flaw in the academics of Arizona and we believe some of this is due to parents relying solely on their child’s school to educate them. With that being said we expect parents to be actively involved in their child’s academics and well-being. That starts with working with us as a team to obtain funding for tuition whether that be through fundraising, scholarships, or STO funds.
Yes! We have a farm stand where we sell raw milk, goat milk, & eggs. Please email us if you’d like to make a purchase. It will be self-serve in the near future.
