Our Story

In 2023 Logan & Brooke added four chickens to their suburban home. A week later they created a garden from recycled materials. A few months later they began to renovate their two homes, sold their homes, and purchased their current home. They were blessed to find their home with acreage. They immediately knew they wanted to share the farm life experience with other families. Brooke spontaneously decided to begin an in-home childcare in April of 2024. She had taken a break from nursing during the move. 

After a lot of prayer she felt God calling her to a new mission in education. Brooke & Logan became more aware of a need for alternative education, a place that celebrates the playfulness of childhood rather than a structured setting created for micromanaging children. 

Logan curiously expressed the idea of opening a micro school after hearing Brooke mention forest schools, micro schools, and homeschooling co-ops. At the time he worked as a commercial construction superintendent. He had no intention of being involved in the childcare or microschool. 

Brooke continuously prayed that God would provide a way for her and Logan to use the farm as a business to allow for more togetherness and time at home.  Logan returned home from work one day to say he’d put in a two month notice and was committing to the farm school.  

And by the grace of God here we are today.
